Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, osteopathic treatment is often covered by private health insurance under extras or ancillary cover, depending on your individual policy. Be sure to check with your health fund to see if osteopathy is included in your plan and what level of rebate you may be eligible for.

Anyone can see an Osteopath, you do not need a referral. We are also an official provider for the NDIS, Workcover and TAC.

Medicare can provide a rebate for osteopathic treatment if you have a chronic medical condition and your GP has created a Chronic Disease Management Plan. These care plans are designed to support patients who require ongoing care from a multidisciplinary team, including allied health services like osteopathy.

To access this rebate, you'll need to consult your regular GP, who will assess your condition and determine whether you're eligible for a CDM. If approved, you may receive up to five subsidised osteopathy sessions per calendar year through Medicare.

We recommend contacting your GP to discuss your individual situation and find out whether a CDM is appropriate for you.

If you have approved WorkCover, TAC, DVA, or NDIS funding for osteopathic services, we can help! Get in touch so we can chat about your plan and how we can best support you through treatment.
